Indicating historical pride and significance, a historic bronze plaque brings interest to our neighborhoods and unifies our community as a city of history and preservation.

Your home or property does not need to be on the national or local registry in order to display a plaque. All who wish to honor their home in Burlington, NC by displaying a historic plaque with pride are welcome to do so!

Each plaque is custom made and will last a lifetime! If you would like to receive a quote for a historic bronze plaque for your home, please see available options below and fill out the order form. We will be in touch soon!

If your home is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places, then your home will qualify for a square plaque.

Through preservation, education, and involvement, Preservation Burlington seeks to protect and celebrate the architectural and historical heritage of Burlington and the surrounding area. By fostering within the community an appreciation of our historic properties, we aim to promote interest in, and good stewardship of our local historic treasures.
